Getting Started
Choose the free full-game trial or the separate lifetime unlock. The offer in the app shows the trial duration and the price available to you before you confirm with Apple. After access is active, allow microphone access and complete Voice Setup with an easy neutral hum and a gentle range sweep. Vocal Glide saves the resulting low, center, and high pitch values on your device.
Language
In version 1.3.1 or later, open Settings > Language. Choose English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese or Italian. Your choice applies immediately and stays selected after you relaunch the app.
Use device language restores automatic selection: a supported primary device language is used; otherwise the app uses English. Note Names is an independent setting. Apple's permission and purchase screens follow the system's language settings.
Movement Speed And Responsiveness
In version 1.3.1 or later, open Settings > Movement speed. Choose from 10% to 100% in 10% steps. Lower values make the fairy in Moonlit Cave and the rabbit in Magic Bunny move more slowly for the same hum. The default of 100% preserves the original movement speed. This setting does not change the speed of Cave obstacles or the Bunny hat.
Responsiveness is separate: it controls how smoothly changes in your voice affect movement in Moonlit Cave and Magic Bunny, and aiming in Butterfly Meadow. Keep Responsiveness unchanged when comparing movement speeds. Movement speed does not affect Note Garden, Butterfly Meadow or Free Glide.
Trial, Purchase, And Restore
The free trial is offered once, starts only when you confirm its free Apple transaction, does not renew, and creates no automatic charge. An earlier trial keeps its original expiration when you update; reinstalling or restoring does not start another trial. The Full Game purchase is a separate one-time lifetime unlock, not a subscription. Existing lifetime purchases and previously granted permanent access remain valid after an update.
Apple processes trial and purchase transactions. Restore Purchases is available on the access screen and in Settings under Full Game Access. Use the Apple Account that acquired access. If purchase information is temporarily unavailable, check your internet connection and App Store sign-in, then try again.
Moonlit Cave
Use your voice to choose a portal before the run starts. Casual keeps flight free of webs. Engaged adds webs that briefly reverse the pitch controls: a higher note moves the fairy down and a lower note moves it up. The web effect clears on its own. Open How to Play in the activity for its controls.
Achievements And Voice Analysis
The Medal Shrine displays achievement badges earned through play. In Settings, Voice Analysis shows locally saved pitch summaries and patterns over time. These describe detected notes during play; they are not a medical assessment or a measure of singing ability. Stay within a comfortable voice and take breaks when needed.
Delete Voice History clears the analysis summaries without deleting badges, Voice Setup, or purchases. Summaries begin again during your next voice-controlled session. Deleting Voice Setup is a separate action. Existing Voice Analysis history remains available to view after a trial ends.
Microphone Troubleshooting
If the app cannot hear you, open the device Settings app, find Vocal Glide, and confirm that Microphone access is enabled. Try Voice Setup again in a reasonably quiet room using a comfortable sustained hum or vowel. There is no need to shout or force high or low notes.
Privacy
Pitch analysis happens on your device. Voice Analysis saves pitch summaries, not gameplay audio. Read the Vocal Glide privacy policy.
