Mumble Aloud Support

For help, email support@exricel.com. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, game and a short description of what happened. Please do not send private voice recordings.

Language and play

Menus and instructions are in English. Games practise Czech spoken answers. Choose a game on Home, select its vocabulary and intensity, then tap Play. Earlier editions also supported English and Italian spoken answers; saved scores from earlier editions remain on your device.

Trial, lifetime access and restore

The app is free to download. Choose a game to activate one free full-game trial or purchase Full Game lifetime access. The offer in the app shows the trial duration before you confirm with Apple. The trial starts only after you confirm its free Apple transaction. It does not renew or charge you automatically. After expiry, games and the vocabulary cabinet require a separate lifetime purchase; the current price is shown before you buy. Lifetime access includes future updates to this app.

Home, Settings, the pronunciation example, Privacy, Support and Restore Purchases remain available. Trial expiry does not delete your scores or saved vocabulary, and a running game may finish. Use Restore Purchases in Settings or on the offer with the Apple Account that acquired access. Restore or reinstall does not start a second trial. A pending purchase waits for Apple's approval. If purchase information is unavailable, use Retry; do not delete the app to troubleshoot, since local progress may be lost.

Choose your words

Memory Grid and Mumble Blocks use picture vocabulary. Sound Source uses groups with sound clips. Open Vocabulary from game setup, review the selected groups and word count, and use Add groups to explore more. Remove a selected row with its remove button. Compatible groups can be combined; Number Grid uses number ranges. If a saved selection changes after an update, the app asks you to choose again rather than silently changing its words.

Speaking and pronunciation

Allow Microphone and Speech Recognition when asked. Use Warmup for more help. Speak the short Czech answer naturally. In Memory Grid, say nic for an empty cell. In Mumble Blocks, say a visible word to crack matching blocks; finish a row to clear space.

Open a word card to hear its Czech pronunciation. In Settings, Hear example uses the best eligible Czech pronunciation voice installed on the phone. Optional download instructions explain how to obtain another iOS voice. Pronunciation playback and speech recognition are separate system features; downloading a voice does not change the recognizer.

If recognition stops, check the app's permission message and use its Retry or Settings action. After leaving the app or an audio interruption, return and tap the microphone to resume. Recognition availability varies by device and Apple's speech services; offline recognition is not guaranteed.

Listening strip

The strip below the board shows the most recent words the app heard, so older words from a long round move out of view. Settings → Show listening details is on by default. Turn it off for less text while playing; the microphone, listening state and essential permission or recovery messages remain available. This setting changes the display, not how your spoken answers are processed.

Progress and privacy

Scores, selected vocabulary, saved cards and practice counts are stored locally by the app. Removing the app may remove that progress. Read the privacy policy at Mumble Aloud Privacy Policy or contact privacy@exricel.com.
