Mumble Aloud is a voice-first language game. It uses your microphone and Apple’s Speech Recognition features so you can answer short game prompts out loud.

Data We Collect

Mumble Aloud does not collect personal data from the app. The app does not require an account, include ads or third-party analytics, or sell or share user data.

Microphone and Speech Recognition

Mumble Aloud asks for Microphone and Speech Recognition permission so it can listen for short answers such as numbers, remembered card words, sound-source names, and card matches.

The app does not create or store audio recordings and does not send audio or recognized answers to a developer server. Recognition is handled through Apple’s system speech services after you grant permission. Apple’s handling of those services is governed by Apple’s terms and the behavior available for your device, language, and settings.

Local Game Data

Mumble Aloud stores preferences and progress on your device, including your selected speaking language, Stage and Intensity choices, best scores, and local card progress. This information stays on your device.
